You will find the following metrics provided for the most searched keywords related to the phrase entered in the Jaaxy phrase entry box.
Each of these metrics gives you a deeper insight about a keyword with information about how often it is searched, its competitive rating and ranking on search engines. With this key information you will be able to make the best decision about which keywords would be the best possible choice to build content around.
Avg (Monthly Searches)
This is the average number of searches that the keyword receives per month. These traffic numbers are what you should be focusing on.
Just a note on this. High traffic does not necessarily mean it is the best keyword. This number may be very high but the number of competing sites also using these words are very high, it may take you a very long time to rank on first page. Unless you are able to outperform the sites already ranking top on the first page with improved content, more backlinks and taking other factors into account.
Traffic
This metric gives an estimation of the number of traffic or visits you can expect to your website if you achieve first page ranking in the Search Engines for your keyword(s).
QSR (Quoted Search Results)
Quoted Search Results is probably the most important of all the metrics in making an informed decision. It shows the number of competing websites ranked in Google for this exact keyword.
KQI (Keyword Quality Indicator)
The keyword quality indicator is color coded to indicate quality of a keyword for any marketing campaigns such as PPC and SEO:
- Green is Great
- Yellow is OK
- Red is Poor
